traffic exchanges, work-at-home offers, e-mail farms, and get rich quick
scams, why bother? Well, if you look closely, there are other sites in
rotation, again, so what?
Do you think that Google analyzes every little detail about what people
are searching for? Of course they are! I use Google Analytics with my
websites and those that I promote. When you came to this page, Google
recorded it for me, thanks. Traffic is an important thing, it says that your
site is interesting and that people are visiting and for how long.
Don't get me wrong, having a total marketing plan is very important,

the more traffic you will get. Outbound links are also important, if you link to a really bad site, it will also
let the search engines know a lot about your site. Google says the best way to ensure that pages in
your site are indexed is to build links to them using keywords and anchor text for more relevance. Get

search engines, in order to get your site indexed by the search engines and web directories, so that
people can find your site using random keywords or key phrases. Remember, you don't have to pay for
it, its FREE! Add your URL to Google. or
Submit your site to Yahoo! Those are the main ones, the others will pick it up from them. Remember,
search engines don't like SPAM either, once it is submitted, leave them alone and wait! It could take
months.
Don't fall for the old "I can get your site indexed by" .... or "guaranteed top 10 listing" scams, if you do
a search for your website URL, lets use mine for an example www.wildwebdesigner.com when you click
that link, you are running a search, look at the page, where does my site show up? Usually, well within
the top 10! Along with other sites that link to it, getting the picture? I didn't use any tricks for that!
Google is a very big organization, it has much more to do than worry about one little website, no matter
how important it is to you! Google has many different servers and crawlers or spiders, it takes a long
time, no matter what!
The internet is a BIG PLACE! Just be patient, and watch out for the people trying to sell you "previously
unknown secrets" none of that is real, I don't care what they say. All that you can do is submit your site,
and your Sitemap, what is a sitemap? Once you know, create a Google account and submit yourwebsite
and sitemap. How do I get a sitemap to submit? There are many tools available, but my favorite is

send them. I have signed up on sites, where they hid in their TERMS AND CONDITIONS that it is ok for
them to send you other stuff, or sell your e-mail address, if you have agreed, technically, it isn't SPAM,
but you may receive much more than you thought, so watch out.

Pay-per-clicks search engines offer search engine placement by bid. You bid by keywords. The cost for
pay per click can range anywhere from 0.10 cents to $25.00 or more! There are several pay-per-clicks
search engines including Google AdWords, Microsoft Ad Center and Yahoo/Overture. Yes, there are
many others, like this, but you get what you pay for, if you know what I mean. One exception is the old
stand-by, the phone book, ever use one of those? I don't, unless it is online, and then it usually isn't on
purpose! That is why my favorite pay per click that also gets people on the phone, is Superpages.com,
these folks get it done! When someone does a search for something like this, yellow pages, you get a
wider selection, but, check out the pricing!
